PIER AND PINOT AND PRODUCE TOO

The annual MPVA Pier and Pinot event on the Flinders foreshore was held on the Sunday of the Labour Day weekend.  The event had its now famous yacht race, and a wonderful celebration of the diversity of wonderful Pinot wines was the focus but the event also had a gourmet bent to it this year with several MPGourmet members selling their wares.  Participants reported “Great day, great atmosphere” with produce selling out and the public walking away with armfuls of produce after a great day of wine tasting. Delicious produce from Peninsula Fudge, Main Ridge Dairy, Aromatic Spices and Sunny Ridge Strawberries covered was sold alongside the Red Hill Kitchen offering the most amazing pies!!!  Looking forward to participating next year….
