Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Gardens is home to Australias oldest & largest hedge maze set among 25 acres of world acclaimed gardens. The 3 metre high Cypress hedges have been sculpted into a shapely challenge that will delight & inspire.The Lavender Labyrinth is planted with year round flowering lavender and the view from the central crows nest over the fields of lavender is spectacular. The Lavender Display gardens provide an insight into the different varieties and the history of lavender.The worlds first Circular Rose Maze is planted with over 1200 bushes chosen for old fashioned colour and perfume. The object is to find your way to the centre - and then find your way out. Or you can just stop and smell the roses…The 25 acres of gardens is truly a garden for all seasons. Wander through the gardens on the self guided Garden Discovery Trail. Learn a little about the plants & the history of Ashcombe. The Great Ashcombe Gnome Hunt is a daily event for the young & young-at-heart.The fully licensed Maze Café serves light lunches and delicious Morning and Afternoon Teas. The vaulted ceilings and towering windows of the mud brick café overlook the spectacular gardens.
