Ridge Estate Olive Oil

Ridge Estate Olive Oil is one of the Peninsulas award winning growers and olive oil producers.  Ridge Estate Olive Oil uses the oil from three varieties of olives (both grown on the property and sourced from three growers).  Individual oils are then blended into different styles to create unique Tuscan style oils. Ridge Estate Olives Oils now produce two brands of Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Maxs Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Ridge Estate Olive Oil.  The unique special blends of Ridge Estate Olive Oil has resulted in the 2004 Maxs and Ridge Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil winning a Gold Medal and being declared Best in Class 2 at the 2004 National Extra Virgin Olive Oil Show and also being named as the Judges Choice for Best Extra Virgin Olive Oil $18-$20 in the Age Good Food Guide.  The oils are now available in various locations - including Heronswood, Red Hill Coolstores, Red Hill Supermarket, Houghtons Fine Food (Mornington), Tasting Station (Rosebud) as well as three speciality oil shops in Melbourne.  A number of fine dining restaurants on the Peninsula also use Ridge Estate Olive Oils.
