A Pinot Week event
Montalto, Dexter Wines and Main Ridge Estate
Join us as we revel in and reflect on the beauty of Pinot Noir. Three
well established but different sites give opportunity to explore
regional, growing and winemaking nuances as you go behind the scenes
with the winemakers, taste wine out of barrel, explore back vintages and
special releases. We are thrilled to be working with two incredibly
talented winemakers, with a lifetime of Pinot Noir winemaking between
them: Tod Dexter of Dexter Wines, and Nat White of Main Ridge Estate.
Main Ridge Estate was the first commercial winery on Mornington Peninsula, established in 1975, and continues to make exciting, iconic and benchmark wine. Dexter Wines landed with a splash in 2006, with Tod Dexter making his own label after 30 years in the wine industry, from vines he planted in the mid-1980's.
Montalto will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary, with winemaker Simon Black making wine from 25 year old vines in a state of the art new winery.
