The long tables under the trees groaned with expectation on a perfect autumnal day for March 12th. Ten chefs working in harmony to create a truly regional menu matched with quality regional wines. The people, the chefs, the producer, the vignerons , and the Chisholm student who were impressive as staff all came together in the rustic surrounds to create a perfect day. Max Paganoni of Max’s Restaurant at Red Hill Estate led a very talented team of chefs from around the region: Josh Ball - Two Buoys, Barry Davis -Montalto, Adam Rice - Three Palms, Stuart Bell - Ten Minutes By Tractor, Bob Coley - Lindenderry, Jason Goldingay - Dromana Estate, Bernard McCarthy - Salix, Ben McDermott - Barmah Park, and Mark Poulter - Veraison. This annual event is held in rotating venues across the region as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine festival. Tickets are always in hot demand, and after the wonderful experience of the 2010 event, the 2011 one will be keenly sought after as well!
