Winemakers Lunch

Mangiare in Compagnia  – August 28, 12 Noon

Introduced by winemaker Michael Kyberd with Northern Italian inspired food prepared by chef Jens Schroeder. We will be showcasing both current and mature vintages carefully matched to a series of courses. This is about as far as the serious stuff will go, as food will be presented on platters rather than teeny  tiny individual works of art on a plate.

The lunch will feature: 

• Our famous Polenta Fries (With a nutty twist ) matched with ‘08 Pinot Grigio
• Ocean Trout two ways matched with ‘06 and ‘08 Chardonnay
• Bird and Beast, Porcini Mushroom Risotto with ‘06 and ‘08 Pinot Noir
• Great Italian cheeses including Taleggio and Pecorino with ’07 Shiraz
• Home made Biscotti with Beraldo coffee or Tease Tea
